Our Strategy
Glensec invests in opportunities where there is potential to add substantial value through active management. We do this by investing for the long-term - we take a 30 year view on both property development and business acquisition opportunities - based on rational principles, using our own capital, with the aim to create and preserve sustained, long-term wealth for all stakeholders.
Our Approach
Established in 1999, Glendale Securities Ltd ("Glensec") has built a resilient portfolio of property assets across the UK. Our background is in commercial and residential real assets, where we assess opportunities, on their merits, against well-defined investment criteria.

Whilst we continue to invest in UK real assets, with a focus on development, we are increasingly focused on investing in companies serving the wider Built Environment sector. Glensec seeks to acquire eligible businesses that sit beneath the lower mid-market, typically classed as "SMEs".
Our core sectors are: 1) Safety and Regulatory Compliance activities (e.g., Life Safety & Security, Electrical Testing, Inspection & Certification, Air & Water Hygiene Testing and Lifts Installation & Maintenance); and 2) Property Management Services (e.g., Commercial and Residential Property Management).
Underpinned by strong family values, we typically collaborate with retiring business owners, to provide the exit they require, whilst ensuring their company continues to thrive for the long-term. We aim to minimise disruption during this process, retaining staff to ensure business continuity and focusing on growth and operational improvement.​
